Caps and accessories: finish an outfit without overdoing it
By Highness · Indore, Madhya Pradesh
An accessory should earn its place. It might carry what you need, keep hair out of the way or add a colour you enjoy. Begin with one useful item and see how it works with your most repeated outfits.

Choose a cap for fit before colour
Check the head circumference range and the adjustment mechanism when those details are available. A cap should feel secure without a pressure point. Try it with the hairstyle you usually wear and look at how the crown sits. Two caps labelled one size can still have different depths and adjustment ranges.
Repeat a colour already in the outfit
If you want an easy starting point, pick up a colour from your shoes, top or trousers. The match does not have to be exact. Keeping the rest of the outfit straightforward helps a new accessory feel connected. If you prefer contrast, make it one clear choice rather than several competing details.
Test a bag against your actual carry
Think about the items you take out every day. Check dimensions rather than relying on a photograph to judge capacity. Look at the opening and handle length, and consider whether you need a closure. A bag that looks right but cannot carry your essentials will spend more time at home than with you.
Leave something out
Put the outfit together, then remove one accessory and compare. This is a useful way to notice whether an item contributes anything. There is no fixed number you must wear. Keep the pieces you use or enjoy, and avoid buying a detail just because a styled photograph makes it appear mandatory.
